Iako je skulptura Jedro Dragoslava Krnajskog potpuno apstraktna, tačnije rečeno nefiguralna, postignut je izraz lepršavosti i lakoće jedra. Bez ikakvih doslovnih asocijacija na jedro, umetnik tananošću vertikalnog oblika, na kome vijori, uslovno rečeno, žuta zastava, postiže ubedljiv izraz elegancije jedra. Utisku lakoće i elegancije ovog oblika doprinosi i crvena površina u postolju skulpture, koja daje stabilnost obliku, i u stvarnom, ali i u simboličkom smislu. Jarke boje, žuta i crvena, doprinose utisku vedrine izraza na ovoj skulpturi.

The Sail

Although the sculpture The Sail by Dragoslav Krnajski is completely abstract, more precisely non-figural, an expression of the flutter and lightness of the sail has been achieved. Without any literal associations to a sail, the artist achieves a convincing expression of the elegance of the sail with the subtlety of the vertical form, which the yellow flag is waving on – so to say. The red surface in the base of the sculpture also contributes to the impression of lightness and elegance of this form, which gives stability to it both in the real and in the symbolic sense. Bright colors, yellow and red, contribute to the cheerful impression of the sculpture expression.
