Inspirisana u mnogim svojim delima lepotom, brzinom, elegancijom i okretnošću hrtova, Tamara Rakić oblikuje skulpturu neobičnog naziva A nije mu teško upravo sa hrtom koji se penje uz merdevine. Neobičnim, i reklo bi se nerealnim prizorom, jer je takvo veranje primereno mački a ne psu, umetnica upravo (pri)dodaje hrtu osobine koje njemu nisu svojstvene. U tom smislu, stvoren je utisak koji je na prvi pogled običan, ali nakon analitičkog sagledavanja nerealan, što izaziva stanje začudnosti u posmatraču. Monotonom pojavnošću nizanja prečki merdevina na sjajan način je suprotstavljeno gipko i elegantno izvijeno telo hrta, što stvara nesvakidašnji prizor koji ostaje u sećanju.

Not Hard for Him

Inspired in many of her works by the beauty, speed, elegance and agility of greyhounds, Tamara Rakić shapes a sculpture with an unusual name Not Hard for Him with a greyhound climbing a ladder. With an unusual and, so to say, unrealistic sight, since such a climb is more appropriate for a cat than a dog, the artist attributes the traits to the greyhound that are not typical for it. In that sense, such an impression was created that at the first glance it appears to be ordinary, but after the analytical observation it reveals as unusual, which causes a state of observer’s astonishment. The monotonous appearance of a series of ladder bars is brilliantly contrasted with the flexible and elegantly curved body of the greyhound that creates an extraordinary sight that remains in the memory.
